It can be difficult to hone in on areas of interest outside of school, especially when you’re doing your best to get good grades and study for standardized tests. Figuring out what you enjoy doing outside of school is the first step in building out your passions, and it shows colleges that you’re serious about attending. Admissions officers love to see projects that demonstrate initiative and feedback. We provide coaching on the right extra-curricular activities and summer plans to maximize college admission odds.

Interviews are a wonderful way for students to stand out in the tough admissions process. Those who are directly granted interviews should take advantage of the chance. Remember that the interview is still considered part of your application, so the admissions officer will ask intelligent, yet tough questions. As with any other aspect of an application, it is critical to plan ahead of time and put your best foot forward.

A Step-by-Step Look into our Essay Writing Process:
We meet our clients where they are in the essay writing process. Some come to us with an idea of what they’d like to write about, and others are overwhelmed and unsure about how to proceed. No matter what stage you’re in, we’ll start by explaining what a common app essay is and how the supplements fit into the application process.
Common App Essay Brainstorming: We know what colleges are looking for, and we guide our clients through a brainstorming process that gets down to what’s most important. Through conversations and brief writing prompts, we’ll identify the qualities we want to write about the stories that help those traits shine.
Drafting: All of our essays go through countless rounds of drafts and edits.
Supplements: The supplements are written after the common app essay to avoid any potential overlap. Supplements are research assignments, and we help our clients through that process and draft essays that include all pertinent information. Just like the common app essay, supplements are taken through rigorous rounds of edits.
